The holidays are here, and with them comes the mix of excitement, pressure, and emotions we don’t always talk about out loud. Every year, social media fills up with cozy photos, family gatherings, twinkling lights, and that “perfect” holiday energy. But for a lot of people, including me, this season can feel heavy.
Back in December of 2021, on my old podcast The Polymath Latina, I sat down with family therapist Julia Armand for a conversation that still matters today. Even though I now host a different show, Purpose, Not Pity, this episode remains one of the most honest and helpful talks I’ve ever shared during the holidays.
